15 quick reminders at the physician career crossroads

/ Blog, Mindset

You don’t have to be the same person who chose to go to medical school.

You don’t have to do what your younger self chose for you.

You don’t have to follow in the footsteps of your mentors.

You don’t have to be miserable for the rest of your life.

You don’t have to live up to society’s expectations.

You don’t have to justify your decision to others.

You don’t have to be a clinical doctor forever.

You don’t have to let fear keep you stuck.

You don’t have to know all the options.

You don’t have to get another degree.

You don’t have to do it all at once.

You don’t have to take a pay cut.

You don’t have to do it alone.

You don’t have to settle.

Unless you want to.

What would you add to this list?
